Slogan writing, painting and calligraphy competitions- open to all

India Post, West Bengal Circle is pleased to announce a slogan writing, painting and calligraphy competition. Anyone interested to participate may purchase "Competitions Post card" from Post Office Counters by paying Rs. 2/- for each such post cards

Last date of submission will be 31st October 2020.

The successful entries will be announced on 4 November

Prizes (each category)

First Prize: INR 10000/-

Second Prize: INR 7500/-

Third Prize: INR 5000/-

The theme of the Slogan Writing Competition is

"What is the most important thing I did during the time of COVID-19"

The answer should be written on the competitions postcards within 50 words in Hindi/English/Bengali

For painting competitions, any one postage stamp issued on Mahatma Gandhi may be painted on the Post Card for participationg

For calligraphy competitions, the lines for calligraphy design are:

"Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high

Where knowledge is free

Where the world has not been broken up into fragments

By narrow domestic walls"

For Hindi Version, the following may be written

"सारे जहाँ से अच्छा

हिन्दोस्तां हमारा

हम बुलबुलें है इसकी

ये जूलिस्तां हमारा।"

For Bengali version, the following may be written

Competitors must drop the designed post cards in the earmarked letterbox in the nearest Post Office for successful participation in the competition
