Artwork Guidelines
Participants must submit original, hand-drawn or handcrafted artwork. Digital or AI-generated creations are not accepted. Artwork should:
- Be no larger than 11" x 17" and 2" thick
- Not include signatures or initials on the front
- Avoid unnecessary text unless it relates to the artwork
- Feature wild fish species in their natural habitats
Certain species such as goldfish, guppies, bettas, and koi are not eligible.
Creative Writing Requirement
Each artwork should be accompanied by a short creative writing piece that reflects the participant’s understanding or connection to the chosen fish.
- Maximum length: one page
- Should include name, grade, and location on the back
- Optional for students in grades K–3 and all international participants
Submission Process
All entries must be submitted through the official online form, even if physical artwork is mailed. For 3D entries, only photographs should be submitted online to avoid damage during shipping.
If mailing artwork:
- Use flat cardboard packaging or sturdy envelopes
- Avoid frames, glass, or bulky materials
- Note that mailed artwork will not be returned

- Individual entries only (group submissions allowed through educators)
