DMUN Debate 2027 – A Global Platform for Young Debaters

The DMUN Debate 2027 is an international debating competition organized by the DMUN Foundation. It brings together students from across the world to engage in meaningful discussions, develop critical thinking, and refine public speaking skills in a structured and competitive environment.

DMUN Debate 2027 is designed to promote intellectual growth through argumentation and global discourse. Participants engage in debates on contemporary global issues, fostering cross-cultural understanding and the ability to think analytically under pressure.

  • Participation: Free of charge
  • Eligibility: Open to all students worldwide, regardless of experience

Debate Formats

The competition features internationally recognized debate formats:

  • Asian Parliamentary Debate (APD): A three-on-three team format focusing on teamwork, strategy, and quick thinking
  • British Parliamentary Debate (BPD): A four-team format with eight speakers, emphasizing individual performance within a structured framework

In larger groups, the BPD format may be adapted to accommodate more participants while maintaining fairness and engagement.
