Poetry Competition 2025

The Poetry Competition 2025 is a fantastic opportunity for young poets across India to showcase their creativity and talent. The competition is designed to give a platform to emerging poets, whether from rural or urban areas, to express their thoughts, feelings, and imagination through poetry. The competition is open to all individuals under the age of 20, and it encourages poets to submit their original works in either English or Malayalam.

Objective of the Competition: The competition aims to identify and support budding poets by allowing them to have their works published. It offers a chance for talented young poets to express themselves, and it fosters a creative space where youth can explore their thoughts and emotions through words. Whether the poets are inspired by their surroundings, personal experiences, or their imagination, all subjects are welcome.

Prizes:

• 1st Prize: Rs. 25,000

• 2nd Prize: Rs. 15,000

• 3rd Prize: Rs. 10,000

• 50 Commendable Mentions will be published as an anthology by the Trust.

• All participants will receive Certificates of Participation.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Only Indian citizens or persons of Indian origin are eligible to participate.

• The competition is open to individuals who are under 20 years old.

• Poems must be the participant’s original work. The use of AI-generated content is prohibited.

• Any style or length of poetry is welcome.

• Poems on any subject are accepted. The competition encourages participants to take inspiration from diverse sources.

• There is no entry fee for participation.

Submission Guidelines:

1. Number of Entries: Each participant can submit up to five poems, each considered an individual entry.

2. Required Information: Each submission should include the participant’s full name, address, and proof of age (such as an Aadhar card).

3. Deadline: All entries must be submitted by June 30, 2025. Submissions can be sent to:

4. Judging: The decision of the panel of judges will be final.

5. Announcement of Results: The winners will be announced on July 31, 2025.

6. Anthology Publication: The anthology featuring the 50 commendable mentions will be published by September 2025.
