The most anticipated art event in Telangana is back. The 6th Telangana State Level Drawing Competition – 2025, organized by Cultivating Art, is an exciting opportunity for young students to unleash their creativity while contributing to a greater cause. This annual art festival provides a powerful platform for school children to explore artistic expression, enhance awareness of national issues, and win prestigious rewards.
About the Competition
Open to school children from Pre-School to Class X, the competition encourages students to depict their artistic talent around a theme that blends creativity with civic responsibility. This year’s theme is inspired by the Government of India’s flagship initiative — the Swachh Bharat Mission, which aims to eliminate open defecation, improve solid waste management, and foster Open Defecation Free (ODF) villages across the country.
By engaging students in this theme, the event not only promotes artistic skills but also educates children and their families on the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene for a better India.
A Platform for Young Artists
Since its inception, Cultivating Art has aimed to steer children away from excessive screen time and reintroduce them to the joys of hands-on creativity. With a strong focus on natural art forms such as drawing, painting, coloring, and sculpting, the organization also emphasizes the importance of child-parent bonding through shared artistic experiences.
With over 75,000 student participants to date, the impact of this initiative continues to grow, nurturing not only artistic abilities but also a sense of civic pride and awareness among the younger generation.
