The EduJunior Online Handwriting Competition is here, and it’s the perfect opportunity for students to put their penmanship to the test and earn recognition for their hard work.
Who Can Participate?
This competition is open to students from Grade 1 to Grade 12. Whether you’re in elementary school or high school, you can participate and show off your handwriting skills! Just make sure you get permission from your parents, legal guardians, or teachers to enter the competition.
Handwriting Guidelines:
Before you start writing, take note of these important specifications:
- Paper Size: Use A4 or 8 1/2 x 11 inches paper (either lined or unlined).
- Content: The content should fit on one side of the paper with a 1/2-inch margin on all sides.
- Writing Instrument: You can use black ink only. Choose from a ballpoint pen, fountain pen, felt/fiber tip marker, calligraphy pen/brush, or pencil.
- No Decorations: Keep it simple—no pre-printed images or designs. The focus is on the clarity and neatness of your handwriting.
- Topic: You can write about any topic of your choice! This is your chance to express your creativity, whether it's a meaningful quote, a short poem, or an inspiring story. The possibilities are endless—just make sure the writing reflects your best effort.
The key to success is to write neatly and consistently, with clear letter formation and good spacing.
How to Submit Your Entry:
Once you’ve written your masterpiece, follow these steps:
- Scan or Take a Clear Photo: Make sure your handwriting is clearly visible and legible.
- Upload Your Submission: Upload the scanned copy or photo of your handwritten page to a platform like Google Drive, Dropbox, or any other online service.
- Share the Link: Send the link to your uploaded document to EduJunior.
Entry Fee and Registration:
- Entry Fee: INR 299 (to be paid upon registration).
- To enter, simply fill out the online registration form and complete your payment. Once your payment is confirmed, you’ll receive a payment receipt via email.
Deadline: The final date to submit your entry is March 5th, 2025, so don’t wait too long to start writing!
Categories for Judging:
To ensure fairness, entries will be judged in four categories based on grade levels:
- Grades 1-3
- Grades 4-6
- Grades 7-9
- Grades 10-12
Judging Criteria:
Your entry will be evaluated based on the following:
- Neatness and Legibility: How clear and easy to read your handwriting is.
- Consistency of Letter Formation and Spacing: How consistently you form letters and space them.
- Overall Presentation and Clarity: The overall neatness of your work, from start to finish.
The judges will determine the winners based on these criteria, so make sure your handwriting is as neat and clear as possible!
