In a remarkable effort to promote affordable healthcare across India, the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI), under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India, is hosting a quiz on the occasion of Jan Aushadhi Diwas 2025. This quiz is a part of the celebration for the 7th edition of Jan Aushadhi Diwas, a day dedicated to raising awareness about Jan Aushadhi Kendras and their vital role in providing affordable medicines to all.

About Jan Aushadhi Diwas 2025

The Jan Aushadhi Diwas is celebrated every year to commemorate the immense success and the significant contributions of the Pradhan Mantri Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMJAY). This initiative aims to make essential medicines affordable for every Indian citizen by providing them at a fraction of the market cost. The program focuses on the availability of quality medicines at 50% to 80% cheaper prices through over 15,000 Janaushadhi Kendras spread across India.

The year 2025 marks an important milestone for PMBI, as they aim to expand the reach of Janaushadhi Kendras to 25,000 locations across the country. This expansion will ensure that more citizens, especially those from rural and underserved areas, have access to cost-effective, quality medicines and medical devices.

To commemorate this occasion, the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI) in collaboration with MyGov is organizing an exciting Quiz on Jan Aushadhi Diwas 2025.
