About CodeHers CodeHers is a premier coding challenge that aims to make technology careers more accessible for female engineers across India. With around 100,000 registrations every year, the challenge serves as a talent discovery platform, offering top performers a chance to intern with Walmart Global Tech and secure pre-placement offers.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to female students enrolled in engineering colleges across India.
Pursuing the following full-time programs:
BE/B.Tech – Batch of 2025 and 2026 (1st and 2nd-year students are ineligible).
Dual Degree (B.Tech+M.Tech) – Batch of 2025 and 2026 (1st/2nd/3rd-year students are ineligible).
ME/M.Tech – Batch of 2025 and 2026 (2025 batch considered for summer internships).
Minimum 7+ CGPA required.
Candidates using multiple IDs for participation will be disqualified.
Competition Structure
Level 1 – MCQ Challenge
25 objective questions on computer science fundamentals.
25 minutes to complete.
Level 2 – Coding Challenge
Shortlisted candidates solve two coding problems in 90 minutes.
Level 3 – Final Shortlisting
Cumulative scores from Levels 1 & 2 determine finalists for interviews.
Evaluation includes private test cases for accuracy and fairness.
Rewards & Opportunities
Summer Internship 2025 (May – June)
Top coders from the 2026 batch will receive direct summer internship offers at Walmart Global Tech India (Bangalore & Chennai).
Stipend: ₹1-1.1 lakh per month.
Additional perks: Return airfare, two weeks of initial accommodation, and office benefits.
Full-Time Software Engineering Roles (2025 Graduates)
Top coders from the 2025 batch will be invited for pre-placement interviews.
Salary: ₹18-21 LPA + joining bonus of ₹2-3.5 lakhs + stock grants up to ₹2.5 lakhs.
Additional perks: One-way airfare for self and dependents, initial accommodation, and office benefits.
Interviews will be conducted in descending order of scores until positions are filled.
