Under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, 8 Cheetahs have been released in the Kuno National Park, Madhya Pradesh. After a long time of Cheetahs going extinct, the 'Action Plan for Introduction of Cheetah in India’ has proved to be an important initiative to restore balance in the ecosystem.
To underline the importance of this initiative, PM Narendra Modi in his Mann Ki Baat on September 25, 2022 asked citizens to give suggestions of traditional names for the project.
