Fertilizers are important inputs for agriculture. Most of the fertilizer outlets are operated through dealer networks of fertilizer companies. For modifying the existing retail shops in a phased manner into one-stop shops for all the needs of the farmers for the sale of all Agri- Inputs, providing soil, seed testing facilities, and information on schemes, capacity building, etc. It is proposed to take up retail stores of companies existing at district/ block levels and develop them into “Model Fertilizer Retail shops”.
In view of the above, the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers invites citizens to coin a name for Model Fertilizer Retail Shop - One Stop Shop.
Prize Money: INR 10,000/- to the winning entry for suggesting a name for Model Fertilizer Retail Shop - One Stop Shop
