The competition deadline is 11pm BST on Monday 31 August 2022.
It costs the equivalent of £5 to submit a poem, or £4 per poem for more than three entries. You may enter a maximum of 10 poems.
There are two steps to entering the competition:
Please visit the Brookes Shop and click on 'Book Event'. Then you can register as a new customer (if necessary) and pay for your entry/entries.
Mark your entries either EAL or OPEN in the top right-hand corner of each entry and e-mail them, one poem per file, as Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx), Rich Text Format (.rtf) or PDF (.pdf) files to: poetrycomp@brookes.ac.uk You may attach several poems to your e-mail, but please ensure that they are in separate files. Please also make sure that your name does not appear anywhere on the poem since the competition is judged anonymously. Thank you for your help with this process!
You will receive an automatic e-mail in response, confirming that we have received your poem/s. Please note that there is no entry form for this competition. The Poetry Centre will match the details you submit via the Shop with your e-mailed poems.
