If you think you have a flair for quizzes, you need not look further. This is an opportunity for all of those, who believe in testing their problem-solving and reasoning ability from time to time. We volunteer at the Computer Society Chapter, IEEE  SB GVPCE(A) aids professionals to stay active, involved, and engaged in the community by providing a medium for networking and collaboration. We are dedicated to our job roles of contributing to community engagement.

This quiz series will help everyone to test their Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Verbal Reasoning skills from time to time. Every week we will have two dedicated quiz rounds on one significant topic covering all kinds of model questions from that topic. You can go through the dashboard every week and improvise yourself for the better.

So, what are you waiting for! It is time you challenge your mind and opponents in this intriguing and exciting quiz contest.

Rules:

The quiz consists of 15 questions and the time duration is 25 minutes.
All questions are MCQs.
Start the quiz at the earliest to avoid the last-minute rush.
This is an individual competition.
All the information with regards to this competition will be shared on register email only.
The participant with the highest score will top the dashboard
Eligibility:

There's no age or institution restriction for participation.
Everyone is allowed to participate no matter which school, college, or profession.

 Logical Reasoning:

Logical reasoning consists of aptitude questions that require a logical level of analysis to arrive at the correct solution. Most of the questions are constructed based on concepts and the rest are out-of-the-box thinking ones.

Listed below are some of the steps to solve Logical Reasoning questions and answers:

Read and understand the information carefully.
Analyze critical logical information.
Think of all the possible solutions.
Compare the answer obtained with other possibilities.
Come to a correct logical conclusion.
In this quiz series, you can expect questions like:

Puzzle Questions: This includes seating arrangement or arranging people/days/months/places, etc. in different formats
Sequence Questions: In such questions, a series or sequence of people/numbers/alphabets, etc. may be given and questions based on the same may be asked

Numerical Ability:

Numerical ability involves solving problems through the application of basic formulas or standard rules. A few examples are ratios, percentages, simple/ compound interest, etc., and use predefined formulas to arrive at the answer.

Quantitative aptitude requires the application of logical thinking in addition to the numerical formula, to answer a problem. These questions would require you to think, apply the concept in the given situation, use numerical formula and then answer.

Numerical ability topics and chapters that you need to focus on while preparing:

Numerical problems (missing no., series completion, etc)
Percentages (like profit & loss %, marks, shares, etc.,)
Market price, Cash price & Expenditure problems.
Time & Work, Speed & Distance problems
Fraction, Ratios, Average & Volume
Factoring (LCM, HCF..)
Mensuration formulas (asking you to calculate length, breadth, or height of square)

Verbal Reasoning:

Verbal reasoning assesses your ability to analyze and evaluate written material and synthesize information obtained from it, analyze relationships among component parts of sentences, and recognize relationships among words and concepts.

Verbal Reasoning questions appear in several formats, each of which is discussed in detail in the corresponding sections linked below. About half of the measure requires you to read passages and answer questions on those passages. The other half requires you to read, interpret and complete existing sentences, groups of sentences, or paragraphs.
