AIC ISB: Grand Idea Challenge

AIC - Indian School of business, a joint initiative of ISB and AIM, in collaboration with GIZ, Germany is excited to announce its first Grand Idea Challenge for Students, Aspiring Entrepreneurs, PoC stage startups as well Early Stage Startups under the four categories- Agriculture, Smart-Manufacturing, Mobility, and Digitalization.

The Challenge

AIC ISB is committed towards creating impact by supporting high-impact startups in becoming scalable and sustainable enterprises.  As part of our efforts, AIC ISB seek to inspire and empower a generation of problem solvers and enable them to create solutions for the new challenges that have  emerged due to the pandemic.

COVID pandemic has severely affected the physical movement of goods, disrupted the supply chains and has resultantly highlighted the need for innovation in some of the traditional sectors.  Overcoming these challenges requires an innovative approach and technology based solutions. Under the Grand Idea Challenge we invite you to share your innovative ideas and technologies or products under any of the following categories:

Agriculture, Smart-Manufacturing, Mobility, and Digitalization.

Evaluation Process

The application process begins with startups submitting an online application. After receiving the completed applications, our team will review the application on the parameters based on:

- Relevance of the problem statement

- Adequateness is the solution towards addressing the problem statement

- Innovativeness of the idea

Post the initial screening, shortlisted applicants will be invited to present their ideas on the pitch day and will be evaluated by industry experts. Three applicants under each category will be declared as winners.

Eligibility Criteria

- Applicants can be a Student/Aspiring Entrepreneur/PoC  Stage Ventures or Early Stage Ventures. Anyone is eligible to submit their idea.

- The participant should hold citizenship of India and currently reside in India.

- Idea / Product submission should fall strictly under any of the four categories mentioned above.

How to Register

Applicants can fill the form online to apply for the idea challenge. Only the complete applications will be considered. Applicants have to submit their applications under the right category.
