The 2021 World of WearableArt Awards Competition is now open
It’s time to get started, the online entry process is open!
Anyone intending to enter the World of WearableArt Awards needs to first register to receive a unique designer number. This number is generated by our database and will be required to complete the online entry process. Your designer number stays the same every year and you are not required to register again. Please read through this page of information and at the bottom click the link to register as a designer.
The Online Entry Process
Once you have registered as a designer you will have your own designer profile which you can log in to at any time. To submit an entry to the Competition, simply log in to your designer profile and make your way through the online entry process. This process consists of three steps that require you to supply various information by the relevant deadline.
There is no entry fee to enter the Competition.
You may submit multiple entries in the Competition.
Eligibility
Entrants must be 18 years or over as at 26 March 2021.
Student Innovation Award
To be eligible for the Student Innovation Award, the designer must be currently enrolled in a tertiary level course or they have graduated within 24 months, as of 26 March 2021*
The designer must provide their student ID number as part of the entry process requirements.
If your entry is chosen as a finalist (at First Judging, the judges select your entry to appear on stage in the Awards Show), you are entitled to ONE FREE Premium Seat in the ‘Designer Seating Section’ on Awards Night. You can also purchase up to three adjacent seats for your family or friends.
If your entry is not successful at First Judging, you will have the opportunity to purchase two tickets (for you and a family member or friend) in the ‘Designer Seating Section’ on Awards Night.
Designers will be notified the process for purchasing Show tickets when they receive judging results letters by Friday 16 July 2021.
