Make a Film in 50 Hours at World's Largest Filmmaking Challenge!
IFP’s flagship challenge is back! Assemble your crew and get ready to script, shoot, edit and upload a film in just 50 hours. Experience the thrill of creating a film in 50 hours, the tightest and most exuberant deadline you’ll ever experience
Your team Size can be 1 to 20 people. Teams can choose any one category to participate – Professional, Amateur or Mobile. The theme will be revealed at the beginning of 50 hours on Sep 25, 8pm, IST
Over 1.65 Lac filmmakers from over 30 countries participated in our challenge in last 9 years. Be one of them this year and stand a chance to have your work showcased to the best directors and filmmakers in the industry.
Dates
50 Hours Begin: 8pm, Sep 17, 2021, Friday
50 Hours End: 10pm, Sep 19, 2021, Sunday
Categories
Mobile
Mobile category is open for everyone. The films have to be shot on mobile phones only. Mobile cameras should have a minimum resolution of 1080p.
Amateur
Team Leaders who have made none or less than three films in the past are eligible for the Amateur Category. Any team with 3 or more films should register for Professional category, to avoid facing disqualification.
Professional
Team Leaders who have made 3 or more films in the past are eligible. Registering for Professional Category requires submission of the link of team leader’s channel/portfolio indicating respective work. Previous work can include short films, advertisements, portfolio films, feature lengths, brand films and documentaries.
Prizes
Awards for Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and #5 Film in each category
Winning films will get a theatrical release in PVR Cinemas.
The winning films along with top 100 films will be broadcasted on MTV India.
Winning teams from all categories will get Sennheiser Audio for Video Microphones
Winning Teams from all categories will win a GoPro Action Camera. (Platinum, Gold, Silver winners from all 3 categories)
2 year subscription of Celtx Episodic Production Plan for each winning team.
Winning teams will get Aputure Professional Lights and Deity Microphones.
Winners will get a special one-on-one mentoring session with one Jury member.
Winning films will be screened at the festival during the awards night to thousands of audiences.

Shooting in Covid-19 times
Organisers will be giving across Covid-friendly themes and genres, making sure you can shoot with minimal crew at safe places. Your safety while participating is important and foremost.
