The Indian Society for Technical Education is a national, professional, non-profit making Society registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. The major objective of the ISTE is to assist and contribute to the production and development of top-quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industries and other organizations. Being the national organization of educators in the field of Engineering and Technology, ISTE effectively contributes to various missions of the Union Government.
About Event:
Code Camp 2.0 is a Virtual Hackathon for programmers all over the world. The Teams would compete among themselves for providing the best solution for the given theme. This Hackathon is being organized by ISTE Students' Chapter, SRM NCR, and is sponsored by AICTE SPICES, and teams participating will be going through two rounds. Teams will be provided with a theme on which they have to build their Projects and Submit it later, for Evaluation.
Eligibility:
Must be a citizen of India, of any age group, working professional, or student. Anyone who loves to code is welcomed
Fees: Innovation should be welcomed free of cost. You don't need to pay anything for participating.
Prizes:
1st Rank Holder-A cash prize of Rs 15000/- + Printed T-Shirts + e-certificate of appreciation
2nd Rank Holder-A cash prize of Rs 12000/- + Printed T-Shirts + e-certificate of appreciation
3rd Rank Holder- A cash prize of Rs 8000/- +Printed T-Shirts + e-certificate of appreciation
Rank Holders between 4th-10th will be awarded Printed T-Shirts
E-certificate of participation will be given to all the top 50 qualified teams for round
Idea Submission
At the midnight of 17 March 2021 the theme of the hackathon will be released. Think of an idea on the given theme and prepare a power point presentation of exact three slides describing your idea and submit the same by 20 March 2021. The format of the presentation should be the same as given in the sample presentation. Based on the idea submission top 50 teams will be selected for round 2. Results for round one will be announced by 21 March midnight.
Project submission
Based on the results of round one the selected 50 teams will start preparing their projects for round 2. Submission of the same should be done exactly by 27th March 2021 by 23:59. It is highly advisable for all the participants to not wait for the end moment, as the server might get overloaded which could cause a delay in submission.
