Nominations Open for 2025 Commonwealth Youth Awards for Excellence in Youth Work

Are you a young changemaker working towards a better future? The 2025 Commonwealth Youth Awards for Excellence in Youth Work are now accepting nominations! These prestigious awards celebrate the incredible contributions of young people aged 15-29 who are driving progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Commonwealth Youth Awards offer a unique platform to highlight the inspiring work of young people across the Commonwealth’s 1.5 billion youth population. This is your opportunity to be recognized for your commitment to positive change and to gain the support needed to further your impactful projects.

Award Highlights:
Prizes: Winners receive global recognition and capacity-building grants to scale their initiatives.
The Khalili Foundation will also present five Youth PEACE Awards, as part of the Commonwealth Faith Festival, in addition to other special prizes.
Winners will be celebrated during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in October 2024, Samoa, marking the culmination of the Commonwealth Year of Youth.
Last Year’s Winner:
The 2023 Commonwealth Young Person of the Year, Maya Kirti Nanan from the Caribbean, was honored for her efforts in supporting individuals with special needs in her community. Could you be next?
