NMBA Comic Challenge: Heroes of a Drug-Free Future

Are you a budding artist passionate about using your creativity for a positive cause? Do you want to inspire courage, resilience, and peer support through the art of comics? The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, in collaboration with MyGov, is hosting the NMBA Comic Challenge, inviting artists to showcase their talents and raise awareness about the fight against substance abuse.

About the Challenge:

Substance use poses serious social, psychological, and physical threats to individuals and communities. To combat these issues, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment launched the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) on 15th August 2020. This nationwide initiative focuses on prevention, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and community awareness regarding substance abuse. Since its inception, NMBA has reached over 12.71 crore individuals, creating a powerful movement toward a drug-free future.

As part of its continued efforts to raise awareness, NMBA is now calling on young artists to participate in the NMBA Comic Challenge. This contest offers a unique platform for artists to illustrate stories of young heroes who take a stand against substance abuse, inspiring positive peer influence and showcasing courage and resilience.
