The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, under its Center for Open Learning (CFOL) and in association with The Open Space Society (TOSS), Jaipur, is excited to announce a unique Evening Online Course in Basic Photography and Light Painting. This is an excellent opportunity for photography enthusiasts to enhance their skills in a focused and structured way from the comfort of their homes.

Course Details:
- Name of the Course: Basic Course in Photography and Light Painting (Online)
- Duration: 5 days, from 14th to 18th October 2024
- Timings: 7 pm to 9 pm (Indian Standard Time – IST) – 2 hours per day
- Online Platform: Google Classroom & Google Meet
- Medium of Instruction: English & Hindi
- Maximum Participants: 40 (The course will not be conducted if there are fewer than 32 participants)
Course Requirements:
Participants need to have the following facilities:
- A smartphone or DSLR camera for capturing photos.
- A desktop or laptop with a minimum of 4 GB RAM and a 1.6 GHz or better processor (Intel i3 or i5 or better) – either Windows or Mac OS.
- Latest operating system: Windows 7, 8, or 10; Mac OS Sierra or later.
- Audio-video software like the latest versions of VLC player, Windows Media Player, or QuickTime Player.
- Good quality headphones/earphones with a mic and a compatible HD webcam.
- An internet pack of minimum 3 GB/day or a wired internet connection with a speed of 10 Mbps or more.
- Web browser: Latest version of Google Chrome (preferred), Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: 18 years and above (born on or before 30th September 2006).
- Educational Qualification: HSC (12th pass). Exceptional cases with a 10th pass may be considered.
Course Fees:
- For Indian Nationals: ₹2,800 (₹2,373 base fee + ₹427 GST)
- For Foreigners (including NRI, OCI) and those outside India: ₹8,400 (₹7,119 base fee + ₹1,281 GST)
