GITAM, Hyderabad is going to organize the ‘All India Essay Contest on Science and Technology. Both schools are inviting entries from Intermediate/+2 students and 1st-year graduate courses in any discipline across the country for this contest.
The topics are-
Contribution of Science in National Development (Ancient Knowledge of Science, Contribution from India and Expectations from Science for quality life), Is our environment safe for a better future? (Population, Poverty and Energy Demand) and Impact of Family Values & Culture in Today’s Youth (Indian Culture and Parental role, Self-discipline and How to Make Society Healthy)
Handwritten manuscripts are to be scanned and sent to essaygitam@gitam.in. A typed essay will not be accepted for this competition. A maximum of 30 essays will be selected and their authors will be invited to give presentations online in the second week of February 2021.
The winner of the first prize will get a cash reward of Rs.20,000/-, second prize Rs.15,000/-, third prize Rs.10,000/- and the consolation cash reward of Rs.2,000/- to all those who make an oral presentation (other than prize winners) The prizes will be distributed during celebration of National Science Day.
