Youth Ideathon is India’s largest Festival of IDEAS for K-12 students. It aims to develop a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship in school students.

The competition encourages our youth to dream big and gives their dreams wings.

1. India@75 Youth Ideathon is a 100% virtual ideathon.
2. India@75 Youth Ideathon is a 3 stage competition
3. It is an Individual based competition.
4. Only bona-fide K-12 school students studying in accredited India School Board can participate in India@75 Youth Ideathon
5. The only way to participate is by submitting an idea at the online link
6. The idea submission form shall be open until the midnight of 25th Oct 2021. This is the end of 1st stage of the competition. After that participation shall close.
7. All submitted ideas shall be evaluated by our expert panel.
8. On 27th Oct 2021, the list of Top 500 participants shall be published on this website.
9. If two participant submit nearly the same idea, the idea submitted first on the basis of date and time stamp shall be given priority.
10. The ideas should be original. If at any stage of competition, plagiarism is discovered by the organisers, the participant shall be disqualified and next participant shall be offered a chance.
11. All shortlisted participants shall be interviewed by our expert panel until 31st Oct 2021.
12. On 1st Nov 2021, the list of Top 100 participants shall be published on this website.
13. The final stage of Ideathon shall be from 6th Nov 2021 to 13th Nov 2021. This involves being present in all the workshop and making a presentation or getting interviewed by the jury. At this stage, participants shall also be mentored by experts and sponsors representatives.
14. Judges will review all projects and fill out a scoring sheet on each to determine the Overall Winner.
15. For theme awards, each sponsor along with our expert will judge the ideas on their respective theme and determine a winner.
16. Any ideas you pitch or share at the India@75 Youth Ideathon (and its social media handles) which is released into the ‘public domain’ will not be bounded by any non-disclosure agreements from the organisers.
17. Evaluation Criteria shall be a combination of factors such as
(a) the power of ideas in terms of its ability to solve a real problem
(b) its impact in terms of number of people who it touches or potentially touch,
(c) how the idea stands with respect to alternate solutions available
(d) the progress made by the participant during the ideathon to make the idea as real as possible,
(e) Ability the participant to build a startup with the proposed idea
