International Informatics Olympiad endeavours to assess the competency and proficiency of the students in the field of Computer Science, at National and International levels, every year. Its syllabus comprises of the syllabus of CBSE/ICSE and various State Boards. The iiO examination is based on Computer Science, which provides ample opportunities to the students not only to test their skills but also to sharpen them accordingly and provide know how about International standard. Please refer the books published by the Silverzone Foundation for the preparation of iiO. We recommend the competition for each and every student of the school.
The Olympiad
The Olympiad is organized in the respective schools of the participants during the school hours. The structure of the event (iiO) stands as the following:
An objective-type test of 60 minutes duration, comprising 40 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for classes I and II; and 50 MCQs for the classes III to XII. The question paper is class specific and usually consists of three sections:
(i) Section-1: Computer Science
(ii) Section-2: Reasoning and Aptitude
(iii) Section-3: Scholar’s Zone
The medium of the test is English only.
The iiO is conducted on two dates. Each school may select a date for conducting the Olympiad as per its convenience. Each date of the Olympiad has a separate set of question papers.
Registration of Students
The prospectus containing the Registration Forms of iiO are sent to all the schools registered with the SilverZone Foundation.
The schools which are NOT registered with the Foundation may also request for prospectus by sending an e-mail at info@silverzone.org or by calling the Foundation on 011-26166210, 11, and 12. The schools must return the Registration Forms, properly filled in and complete in all respects, by the due date to the Foundation.
*A student can register through his/her respective school only. Individual registrations by students are not accepted.

Important Dates
As iSSO 2022 is being organized at National and International level, due to various reasons, it is not possible to conduct the olympiad on a specific single date. The International Social Studies Olympiad will be conducted on Tuesday 01-11-2022 Thursday 01-12-2022. Please decide the date which is suitable to your school.Last date for Regisration: 31st August, 2022

Each winner will be entitled to one award for an exam. The winners will be entitled to the higher level award only. For eg, the international top 3 rank holders will be entitled to awards based on their International ranks. Awards accruing to them for their Zonal ranks will be given to the next rank holder. Similarly, class award accruing to a Zonal award winner will be given to the next rank holderInternational Olympiad Winners -
For up to 10 students getting same rank, award amount will be distributed equally. In addition, each winner will be awarded a Trophy in the applicable category and CertificateIn case 11 & more students get same rank, in lieu of cash award, each winner will be awarded with exciting prize + a medal ( in the applicable category) and a Certificate.
