International Social Studies Olympiad
The Silverzone International Social Sciences Olympiad (iSSO) is, for all its intents and purpose, to encourage and develop insight of a student into all kinds of social situations, thereby making him future ready, may it be for job oriented competitive examinations or as a responsible member of the society. The Olympiad tests not only the academic level of the students but also their decision making, creative thinking and critical analysing capabilities.
The event ( iSSO) is very fast capturing the imagination of our Generation Y.
The Olympiad
The Olympiad is organized in the respective schools of the participants during the school hours. The structure of the event (iSSO) stands as the following:
An objective-type test of 60 minutes duration, comprising 40 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for classes I and II; and 50 MCQs for the classes III to X. The question paper is class specific and usually consists of two sections:
(i) Section-1: Social Science
(ii) Section-2: Scholar’s Zone
The medium of the test is English only.
The iSSO is conducted on two dates. Each school may select a date for conducting the Olympiad as per its convenience. Each date of the Olympiad has a separate set of question papers.
Registration of Students
The prospectus containing the Registration Forms of iSSO are sent to all the schools registered with the SilverZone Foundation.
The schools which are NOT registered with the Foundation may also request for prospectus by sending an e-mail at info@silverzone.org or by calling the Foundation on 011-26166210, 11, and 12.
The schools must return the Registration Forms, properly filled in and complete in all respects, by the due date to the Foundation.
*A student can register through his/her respective school only. Individual registrations by students are not accepted.

4th to 25th | 4th to 25th Intl. Olympiad rank holders in each class will be awarded with wrist watches. |
26th to 500th | 26th to 500th Intl. Olympiad rank holders in each class will be awarded with the topper achievement certificate. |
1st, 2nd 3rd | All zonal Rank 1st, 2nd 3rd rank holders of all classes will be awarded with exciting prizes. (minimum 50% marks)) |
1st, 2nd 3rd | Class Topper 1st, 2nd 3rd rank holders of every class of each school will be awarded with a symbolic Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively, provided the topper obtains at least 50% marks. |
All | All the participants will be awarded with the participation Certificate reflecting their Class/ zone/ Olympiad Ranks and Marks |
Important Dates
As iSSO 2022 is being organized at National and International level, due to various reasons, it is not possible to conduct the olympiad on a specific single date. The International Social Studies Olympiad will be conducted on Thursday 10-11-2022 Thursday 22-12-2022 . Please decide the date which is suitable to your school.Last date for Regisration: 30th September, 2022
The Venue of the Olympiad will be the school itself.
In case 11 & more students get same rank, in lieu of cash award, each winner will be awarded with exciting prize + a medal ( in the applicable category) and a Certificate.
The objective of the Report is to share with the student and her / his parents, analysis of student’s answers. This is expected to enable the student understand her/his strengths and areas requiring improvement in absolute terms and also on a competitive scale consisting of lacs of students who appeared in the Olympiad.
Venue
The Registration for iSSO'21 has already started.The Venue of the Olympiad will be the school itself.
Important Notes
Each winner will be entitled to one award for an exam. The winners will be entitled to the higher level award only. For eg, the international top 3 rank holders will be entitled to awards based on their International ranks. Awards accruing to them for their Zonal ranks will be given to the next rank holder. Similarly, class award accruing to a Zonal award winner will be given to the next rank holderInternational Olympiad Winners -
For up to 10 students getting same rank, award amount will be distributed equally. In addition, each winner will be awarded a Trophy in the applicable category and CertificateIn case 11 & more students get same rank, in lieu of cash award, each winner will be awarded with exciting prize + a medal ( in the applicable category) and a Certificate.
At School Level
- Medals to Class Toppers.
- Chapter wise Performance Analysis Report for each participating student.
