Yojana, the flagship development journal of the Publications Division, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, published since 1957, seeks to carry the message of planned and sustainable socio-economic development of all sections of society and serves as a forum to promote detailed analysis and views on various socio-economic aspects of development.
Yojana, published in 13 languages viz. English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Odia with a combined circulation of above a lakh per month, is counted among the largest circulated journals in the field of development journalism. With time, the journal has discussed at length contemporary affairs such as women empowerment, educational policies, fintech, new-age technologies, social security, heritage, culture, and literature thus reinvigorating the idea of New India in celebrating the journey of India in the last 75 years. The journal is an important resource for policymakers, bureaucrats, think tanks, civil service aspirants, and the general public alike.
Publications Division is looking to reinvent the existing logo of the Yojana magazine to represent the idea of New India and its growth story, and thus invites logo designs for the same.
