About eduVelocity Global Business Challenge 2021
eduVelocity Global Business Challenge 2021 is an innovative business plan contest for high school students worldwide. EGBC aims to encourage young people's entrepreneurial minds and develop their knowledge and experience of enterprise. It gives an opportunity for teams of high school students from around the world to solve a significant global problem through an innovative and sustainable enterprise idea. They also learn to apply their knowledge of science and technology in a practical way.
Objective:
1. To widen your thinking abilities by getting the opportunity to learn in a high-pressure situation involving a real-world scenario
2. You will get the opportunity to meet students from different academic backgrounds, knowledge, culture and region.
3. To strengthen your skills like confidence building, leadership skills and teamwork.
Who Can Participate?
Do you have a business idea that is profitable and, at the same time, brings a positive social or environmental benefit
Are you a social entrepreneur at large, who is looking to run your next great business idea?
If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, then you need to learn more about this Competition
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Students from class 9th to 12th can participate in this competition
You need not require any prerequisites just zeal to become a true entrepreneur.
Globally students of all the streams are welcome to participate.
Our focus is to build a versatile team so as not to restrict any opportunity for our students.

Structure:
REGISTRATION: The deadline for registration is 30th April 2021
Maximum 4 members permitted in a team including not more than one graduation pursuing teammate and this time the challenge is OPEN to non-eV team members as well
Teams will have an orientation program with their Advisor on 17th April 2021. (Slots will be shared via email).
PHASE I (Non-Elimination Round): Business Proposal Submission. The deadline is on 7th May 2021; at 11.59 PM IST.
PHASE II – Business Pitch Round (Elimination Round): Teams need to submit their evaluating material on 29th May 2021. The presentations round will be from 1st-4th June 2021. The Result of Phase 2 will be announced on 10th June 2021.
FINALE: Top 8 teams will be interviewed through Video Call/ EV office Skype/ physical interview with the Judges will be on 20th- 30th June 2021.

Results will be announced on 5th July 2021
The winning Team will be awarded Trophies and Certificates
