The UNESCO invites young photographers worldwide to participate in the 8th edition of the Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads International Photo Contest .

Organized under UNESCO’s Silk Roads Programme, this global initiative promotes:
- Cultural exchange
- Mutual understanding
- Peace among communities
Photography is used as a powerful medium to showcase the shared heritage of the Silk Roads.

“Living Heritage along the Silk Roads”
Participants are encouraged to capture how traditions and cultural practices continue to thrive across regions connected by the Silk Roads.

- Traditional crafts (weaving, pottery, embroidery, etc.)
- Music, dance, storytelling
- Food and culinary traditions
- Cultural festivals and community gatherings
- Portraits reflecting identity, resilience, and daily life
- Transmission of knowledge and skills across generations

- Open to young people aged 14 to 25 worldwide

- 14–17 years
- 18–25 years

Each age category will have 3 winners:
- ๐ฅ First Prize: Professional camera
- ๐ฅ Second Prize: Semi-professional camera
