🌿 About Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji
Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, born in 1621, was the ninth Guru of Sikhism and a spiritual leader known for his deep meditation, humility, and commitment to truth. At a time when religious freedom was under severe threat, he stood as a fearless defender of the right to belief.
In 1675, in Delhi, Guru Sahib made the ultimate sacrifice—laying down his life to protect the religious freedom of others. His martyrdom remains one of the most powerful examples of selflessness and moral courage in history.
🎯 Purpose of the Quiz
Organised by the Ministry of Culture in collaboration with MyGov, this quiz aims to:
- Promote awareness about Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s life and teachings
- Encourage reflection on values like justice, equality, and compassion
- Inspire citizens, especially youth, to uphold harmony and dignity in society
