The “Aahana and the Two Brains” Children’s Contest by StoryMirror , inspired by the book by Avinash Parhi, invites children to explore this unique superpower through storytelling.
🧠 What’s the Idea?
Inside all of us are two brains :
- One says: “I want it NOW!” 😠
- The other says: “Wait… think first.” 🤔
This contest is about that moment—when you feel angry, sad, or confused… and then choose to act bravely, kindly, or wisely .
That choice? That’s your real superpower . 💫
✍️ What You Need to Write
Create a short story based on:
🌟 Theme: “My Superpower”
Your story should include:
- A child (just like you!)
- A problem or strong emotion
- A moment of pause and thinking
- A smart, kind, or brave decision
- A happy or meaningful ending
📌 Contest Details
- Word Limit: 500–1000 words (shorter is also okay)
- Language: English or Hindi
- Genre: Fun, emotional, and meaningful story for children
- Entry Fee: Free
