In a world where creativity meets responsibility, the CREST International Drawing Olympiad (CIDO) stands out as more than just a competition—it is a mission to inspire young minds . Designed for students from Kindergarten to Grade 10, CIDO provides a powerful platform for children to express their imagination while developing a deeper understanding of the world around them.
CIDO is not just about drawing—it is about thinking, observing, and creating with purpose . The Olympiad encourages students to:
- Recognize natural patterns and edges in the environment
- Understand space and perspective
- Explore the interplay of light and shadow
- Translate real-world observations into meaningful art
What makes CIDO truly unique is its alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) . Through art, students are encouraged to reflect on environmental challenges and contribute ideas for a greener, more sustainable future.
๐ฑ The Green Warrior Initiative
CIDO is a proud part of the Green Warrior Initiative , which aims to cultivate environmental awareness and responsibility among students. The initiative emphasizes:
- The importance of environmental conservation
- Collective responsibility toward protecting the planet
- Creative expression as a tool for awareness and change
By participating, students become “Green Warriors” , using their artistic skills to advocate for a better tomorrow.
✏️ Why Drawing Matters
