Evaluation Criteria

A Special Jury Panel consisting of renowned photographers and officials from MoHUA will assess the submitted photographs. The panel will focus on various aspects, such as composition, emotion, storytelling, and creativity.

The judging panel’s decision will be final and binding, and MoHUA reserves the right to request the original JPEG or RAW files of images to verify their authenticity.

Prizes and Recognition

This contest not only celebrates photography but also offers exciting rewards for the winners!

• 1st Prize: ₹50,000
• 2nd Prize: ₹30,000
• 3rd Prize: ₹20,000

In addition to the top prizes, there will be Spotlight Awards recognizing two runners-up in each of the following categories, with each receiving a prize of ₹5,000:

1. Best Candid Moment – Captures a genuine, unscripted moment between people and their surroundings.
2. Most Vibrant Mood – A photograph that vividly portrays a positive, powerful emotion or mood in a dynamic, colorful setting.
3. Nature & People Harmony – A beautiful integration of nature and human elements, showcasing their coexistence.

Exposure and Exhibition

Winning photographs will be featured on official DAY-NULM and MyGov platforms, giving them widespread recognition. Plus, a special exhibition of the winning photographs will be set up on Kartavya Path, allowing the public to enjoy these stunning moments captured through the eyes of talented photographers.
