To focus on 'Ecosystem Restoration', the 'Sir Vithaldas Thackersey College of Home Science (Autonomous)' is organising an array of competitions on the themes.
Title of the event : ‘There is no planet B : An Ecosystem Restoration Initiative’
Eligibility: School and College Students
The Activity is designed to motivate the younger generation who are the potential Eco Warriors. We would like to encourage them to speak about ecosystem degradation and present real time solutions to some of the challenges faced by the globe. These are few of the real time environmental issues that our country is facing!
Inviting individual entries on Themes:
1. Urbanisation: Reviving the lost ecosystem
2. Biodiversity restoration (Permaculture, Afforestation etc.)
3. Role of Industry in ecosystem restoration
4. Water restoration (River, Wetland, Ocean)
5. Repairing the ozone hole
6. Planet Pandemic
The competition is open for 3 levels of Students:
I. Grade VIII, IX & X
ii. Grade XI & XII
iii. Degree College- FY, SY & TY
ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES TILL 30TH MAY 2021:
All competitions open in three languages (Hindi, Marathi and English)
1. Poster making (Not more than 5 MB)
2. Poetry/ Rap making (6 to 12 lines, each stanza should be of 6 lines)
3. Video Making ( 2 to 3 minutes only )
4. Jingle Making (4 to 6 lines)
5. Cartoon Making (Digital or manual)
This blog aims to provide uptodate information on various competitions for Indian students
