CONTEST RULES & REGULATIONS :
a) The contest is for students of KG to Class VI. This Contest is free of cost.
b) In www.sipeastcontest.com Parents need to fill up the Registration Form. After clicking the submit button Parents will get Contest I.D number & SIP Abacus Contact details.
c) Parent needs to call up SIP contact number & get contest details, date & time.
d) The Online Drawing Contest will take place over a video conference meet in small groups.
e) Child is free to draw anything & use any colour of her/his choice.
f) Either one or both Parents of the child must be present with the child during the contest.
g) The video conference will be of 1 Hour only. It will be a combination of drawing time for kids followed by a short Parents’ counselling on information about the contest & SIP Abacus.

Gate Design Contest for Sports Authority of India


Sports Authority of India (SAI), under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (Government of India), envisages to broad base and brings excellence in Sports across the country. SAI has 12 Regional Centers, 23 National Centre of Excellence, over 65 State level Khelo India Centers, etc, and has a mandate to create an enabling sports system and to achieve excellence in sports.

SAI has recently launched a new logo to rebrand and recreate its identity nationally and globally in alignment with its vision and philosophy.The new logo has an element of the Leadership Jump, Indian Tricolour, and the word SAI. The Leadership jump shows the prime position of SAI in the sports ecosystem as the primary agent of promoting excellence in sports and at the same time indicates the freedom an athlete gets to leapfrog his career once they come to SAI. The word SAI gives the identity to the organization among various stakeholders being the acronym of Sports Authority of India. Tricolour and blue color of chakra give the national flavor as symbolic of SAI as the National leader in the sports ecosystem. It has been adopted to have uniformity of designs in all signage and hoardings across all SAI centers. In this context, it is envisaged to adopt uniformity in all entrance gates of all SAI field units also to create its own identity.

Examination will be held in English and the questions will be of Multiple Choice (MCQs).

Prizes
The first prize winner will get Rs. 1,00,000/- cash and a laptop.
The second prize winner will get Rs. 75,000/- and a tablet.
The third prize awardee will get Rs. 50,000/- and a tablet.

GOA STATE LEVEL PHOTO CONTEST-2020

The Department of Information & Publicity invites entries under the Goa State Photo Contest and Exhibition Scheme -2014.

The Photo Competition has two sections with two different subjects. The topics in the category-1 is conserving environment for ecology; and in  category-2 Infrastructure and allied facilities to contain Covid-19

Each entry should carry photographer's name, nationality, postal address, mobile number, telephone numbers, e-mail address on the back of the photographs in Block letters. Technical details such as camera used, should be sent along with the entry. Mobile images shall not be considered for the entry. A brief of the photographs and bio-data of the photographer not more than 100 words each should be attached with the entry. Certificate that all photographs are the works of original nature and taken by the entrant himself/herself has to be enclosed by the entrant. Entrants are required to send a soft copy along with photograph of high resolution.

This contest by Khula Aasmaan is aimed at encouraging child art, child artists, student artists, young artists, youth art, art students. Khula Aasmaan is a platform for creative expression by kids, children, college students and young adults, with a special focus on underprivileged, rural, tribal and remote communities.

Details of art competition

Khula Aasmaan is a free online contest. This free online competition is open 24 x 7. There are two age groups - 5 to 15 years and 15 to 25 years. The age group 5 to 15 years is for kids or children. The age group 15 to 25 is for college students or young adults.

What is the size of the artwork ?

1) The artwork to be submitted can be in two sizes - A4 or A3.
2) A4 size is 210 × 297 millimeters or 21 x 29.7 centimeters or 8.27 × 11.69 inches.
3) A3 size is 297 x 420 millimeters or 29.7 x 42.0cm, 11.69 x 16.53 inches.

What medium can be used for the paintings or drawing ?

You can use any medium of your choice. There is no restriction on the use of medium. It could be regular pencils, coloured pencils, graphite pencils, charcoal, crayons, sketch pens, oil pastels, watercolours, acrylic colours, oil colours. The drawing, sketch or painting can be done on any paper - it could be the regular office stationery paper or drawing paper or any other surface suitable for drawing or painting. You can also use a canvas. If you use a canvas, please ensure that you leave a margin of 2 inches on all sides for stretching. You can submit digital art as well.

How to submit your entry to Khula Aasmaan contest ?

The submission is online. This means that you will submit a scanned image or a good quality picture of your artwork along with all the relevant details such as title of the artwork, large used, size and a brief description about the artwork.
Please do not send your original artworks to us, unless we ask for it. For photography contest, you will need to submit only the image in the initial stage.

How many entries can I submit to this competition ?

Each participant can submit a maximum of 25 entries. These entries can be across multiple themes as you wish. You have the total freedom.

What happens after I submit my entries ?

Khula Aasmaan contest works on a quarterly cycle. Every quarter, the jury of this competition draws a shortlist from both groups (children and college students). The shortlist is published on our website as well as in our blog and social media pages.

Benefits of getting shortlisting in Khula Aasmaan contest

The original artwork for each shortlisted entry. After receive the original artworks from the shortlisted children and college students, a dedicated web page is created for each shortlisted child artist and young artist. Organisers are committed to managing and promoting this web page for a period of 3 years. During this period, all the artworks created by the shortlisted child artists or young artists, is uploaded on their dedicated web pages.
Furthermore, the original artworks then undergo another round of judging to decide medals and honorable mentions. The medal winning artworks are displayed at exhibitions, workshops and other such forums, as and when an appropriate opportunity arises.

State Level Online Quiz Competition - Tamil Nadu

Chief Electoral Officer presents Online Quiz;  Election Commission Tamil Nadu

As part of the SVEEP Programme, a State level online Quiz competition will be conducted for the General public to enhance their participation for the forthcoming General Elections to Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, 2021.The competition is open to all and interested persons can participate in this quiz programme. The whole competition will be conducted through online mode only.

In preliminary level, three rounds will be conducted on "Goal Quiz sports" YouTube channel. The interested persons can participate directly in the preliminary level on Goal Quiz Sports YouTube channel at 4 pm on October 25, 2020 and at 1 lam and 4 pm on October 26, 2020. Whoever types the answer first on the comments section of the "Goal Quiz Sports" YouTube channel will qualify for the next round. One person can type the answer only once. Totally 36 teams will be selected for the semifinal round.
The semifinal and final rounds will be conducted on subsequent weekends.
The selected teams will be informed accordingly.
The subject for the Quiz competition is Elections in India and General

Judgement

Each bar will be judged based on two very important elements: Taste and Creativity. All entries will first be looked at by an independent judge, and then narrowed down where the next round of potential inventors will be reviewed by a separate panel of experts (including at least one independent judge). Five lucky finalists will be selected, and will be notified before Feb 2021. Two winners will be selected from among the 5 finalists through public voting which will be conducted for a duration of 2 weeks.

There are a few restrictions so we can make sure the bars feel at home as part of the Cadbury Dairy Milk family. This means nothing (in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter) which is offensive, rude, politically motivated, or combinations of names that already exist in the Cadbury range.

Prize

The five lucky finalists will have their bars put up for public voting for a duration of two weeks and the top 2 would be launched in the latter half of 2021 and will be available to purchase for a period of 3 months across markets in India. The winning Cadbury inventor will receive a a year’s supply of their delicious creation - that's a sharing bar a week!

The competition is aimed at primary and secondary school students, supported by Teacher Champions, parents and schools. To participate, schools simply need to register a Teacher Champion to coordinate on their behalf.

The prizes
One overall Grand Prize trophy winner will receive a free international trip to a TSL Summit, including £500 spending money. The Top 10 essay medallists will receive eco-friendly e-medals with redeemable gift tokens included. All participating Teacher Champions, Essay Finalists & Honourable Mentions, and International Debate participants, will receive personalised e-certificates.

How to enter

Participants are invited to create a short video, either as an individual or a group, showcasing their messages on biodiversity to world leaders and governments in advance of the fifteenth Conference of Parties (COP 15) of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity.

The maximum length of each video is 1 minute.
To upload a video you must be registered as a Teacher Champion. Each Teacher Champion is only able to upload one video.
For tertiary and teacher entries (aged 18+): To submit your video you must register as a Teacher Champion.
Primary and secondary entries (aged 7-17): Must be submitted on behalf of students by a registered Teacher Champion. If you wish to submit multiple entries from your school, parents or legal guardians can also register as Teacher Champions.
All video submissions must be uploaded to YouTube (Teacher Champions will be asked to provide the relevant YouTube link)
Login and tell the YouTube link to your video entry by 28 February 2021.

Study Australia Video Competition 2020



Study Australia Video Competition is an opportunity for you to experience Australian education and engage with premier Australian universities.

Students from grades 9-12 students across India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are eligible to participate.
Each team should consist of two students and one member of the teaching staff.
The students will have to demonstrate their English language skills and develop a short 3-minute video on a topic nominated by the partner institution in Australia. More information about the themes can be found below.
Teams should pick from one of the five themes.
Each school can nominate a maximum of 20 teams. One team can participate only in one' theme' (multiple entries per team are prohibited)
The winners will be chosen from any of the three participating countries – India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Creative Blurs: Better Photography Weekly Challenge


Out of Focus. Camera Shake. Slow Shutter Speed. They may not result in the sharpest images, but these techniques can result in some stunning images. Use them to show off your creativity with this week's theme.

GENERAL RULES:

1. You can submit multiple photos in any contest. However, photos need to be uploaded only one at a time.
2. Photos submitted must be at least 640 pixels on the shorter side, and no more than 2000 pixels on the longer side. Images should be no larger than 2MB. Photos must be in JPEG format The file size should not exceed 2 MB.
4. For each photo, specifying a caption is mandatory.
5. Once uploaded, photos/details can be deleted, altered, or changed only before the contest closing date.
6. Uploaded photos will be displayed on the site only after moderation.
