Story Mirror "31 Days : 31 Writing Prompts" - Writing Contest


StoryMirror is back with Season 2 of our "31 Days : 31 Writing Prompts" - a unique writing contest to venture your creativity and imagination everyday. The rules are very simple. You need to write a story or a poem on the basis of the image in the banner above. It depends on you how you want to write it - funny, loopy, wild, easy. Don't limit your imagination. Let it explode and write whatever strikes you.


So get ready. Spark up your imagination and paint the world in your words. Everyday be ready for a different prompt and write your heart out.

Rules:

StoryMirror will be launching a new writing prompt at 12 AM every night.
The picture in the banner will be the writing prompt.
Each prompt will be active till the last day of competition (June 1). You can see previous prompts under the "Prompt" tab. 
Participants should submit their original poems / stories.
There is no limit on the number of stories or poems to be submitted, you can write more than 1 story / poem on each prompt.
Decision of StoryMirror will be final and binding on all the participants
Articles / Essays are not allowed for submission.

Prizes:

Top three entries in every language will get Gold, Silver & Bronze membership of StoryMirror (http://sm-s.in/AG1SQZ2)
Participants who write daily for 31 days on every prompt will get free access "Fiction Writing Course - Foundation" worth Rs.1500.
All participants who submit stories / poems on 15 or more prompts will get a StoryMirror shop voucher worth Rs.150. 
All participants will receive participation certificates from StoryMirror.
Winners will be decided on the basis of editorial scores, number of likes, ratings and comments on all their content.

Eligibility

Writing prompts will run from May 1, 2020 to June 1, 2020

Result: July 2020
Languages: English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Odia & Bangla
Content type: Poems / Stories
