Research for Resurgence Foundation along with Parent Organization Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal and IIT Ropar announces competition for development of indigenous app for video conferencing.
Following rules and conditions will be applicable to the competition.
Minimum Qualifying Criteria for App:
Data and Memory Resources Utilization: App should be able to use mobile-to-mobile (or laptop or computers at user end) resources and should either do not depend on any server or server dependency should be minimum.
Connectivity: App should be able to connect more than 50 phones/laptops/computers for a meeting/video conferencing using mix of Android and iOS based operating systems for phones and windows for laptops and computers.
Video and Audio Quality: Clear Audio and Video (HD or non-HD) will be acceptable.
Security Features: App developed should be secured in terms of data being exchanged on the app.
Screen Sharing should be possible by at least one participant at a time.
For purpose of entry, each application (either by individual, teams, start-ups) will be considered as single entry. No member or start-up can be part of multiple applications.
Decision of organizers will be final and binding on the participants. Organizers reserves the right to accept or reject any/all entries without giving reasons.
Last date for submission of your proposal to RFRF is May 15, 2020 (mid night). Applications received without prescribed format or after the last date will not be considered.
Demonstration of Beta versions for shortlisted participants to be submitted by May 31, 2020
Among all entries after evaluation of demo/beta versions selection of winner will be done by the experts of RFRF. The winner will be given a prize of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs) including taxes. If there are more than one winner then the prize will be divided within winners equally. In addition to cash prize a certificate will be awarded and further development support will be given to winner. TDS will be deducted as per government rule.
Winner team/individual will be provided development support and all copyrights will be assign to Research for Resurgence Foundation for use of app in the manner RFRF desires to use. Team members/individuals will be the included as inventors.

Participants will not have any claim on RFRF for their development work unless they are declared as winner and a formal development support is offered by RFRF.
All the terms and conditions of the competition to be accepted by participant by signing in application form.
There is no entry fee for competition.
