The Hindu STEP English Olympiad

STEP - Standardised Test of English Proficiency, is an initiative by The Hindu Group in the education sector in 2016. STEP helps Indian youth assess and improve their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in English. STEP was publicly launched on Aug 15, 2016 with free assessment for reading, writing and listening skills. More than 800,000 users have joined STEP to assess and improve their English Proficiency in the last 24 months. STEP has benefitted beginners, students, job seekers, young professionals, exam aspirants and home makers alike.

Eligibility
Students of Class III to VIII

How to Register
The registration can be done directly or through schools. If you register directly, you can select a test centre nearest to you from the available test centres.
As it is tablet based olympiad, the tablets will be provided at the test centres. The participants need not carry the tablets.
