EduJunior Essay Writing Competition: A Platform for Young Minds to Shine!

Are you looking for a platform where your students can showcase their writing skills and creativity? The EduJunior Essay Writing Competition is here to provide just that opportunity! We’re excited to invite students from Grades 1st to 12th to participate in this exciting competition, designed to encourage young minds to express their thoughts and ideas through well-crafted essays.

Who Can Participate?

This competition is open to students from Grades 1st to 12th. Whether your students are just beginning to write or have already developed a passion for it, this competition is the perfect stage for them to shine!

Important: All participants must obtain prior permission from their parents, legal guardians, or teachers before entering the competition.

Essay Guidelines

  • One Essay Per Participant: Each student can submit only one essay.
  • Language: Essays must be written in English.
  • Word Count: Depending on the grade category, the essay should be:
    • Grades 1-3: 500-600 words
    • Grades 4-6: 600-700 words
    • Grades 7-9: 700-800 words
    • Grades 10-12: 800-1000 words
  • Formatting:
    • Essays must be typed in a readable font like Times New Roman or Arial.
    • Font size should be 12, in black color, with standard margins.
    • The theme of the essay should be clearly mentioned at the top of the first page.
  • Original Content: The essay must be the student’s original work and should not violate any religious, linguistic, or social sentiments.

Submission Requirements

  • Format: Participants must upload their essays in PDF format, with a file size not exceeding 2 MB.
  • Additional Requirements: Along with the essay, participants must also submit:
    • A picture of themselves holding a sign with the contest theme and their name.
    • One of the following valid ID proofs: School ID, Passport, Resident Permit, or Birth Certificate.
  • Entry Details: Every entry must include the student’s first name, grade/class, and school name.

Entry Fee and Registration

  • Entry Fee: The participation fee is INR 299/student.
  • Registration: To register and submit your entry, simply fill out the online registration form provided and proceed with the payment.
