Eligibility
Participation in the competition is open and free for everyone.
● There is no limit for sending posters.
● The language of the messages/slogan to be used on the submitted designs should only be in
English. Otherwise, such designs will be excluded from evaluation
THEME 1:
From the participants, Participation is expected with the main theme and sub-themes of Life on
Land. Participants can send posters related to each sub-theme. There is no limit on participation. The
twelve sub-themes determined within the scope of the Sustainable Development Goals are as
follows;
● 15•1 - CONSERVE AND RESTORE TERRESTRIAL AND FRESHWATER ECOSYSTEMS
● 15•2 - END DEFORESTATION AND RESTORE DEGRADED FORESTS
● 15•3 - END DESERTIFICATION AND RESTORE DEGRADED LAND
● 15•4 - ENSURE THE CONSERVATION OF MOUNTAIN ECOSYSTEMS
● 15•5 - PROTECT BIODIVERSITY AND NATURAL HABITATS
● 15•6 - PROMOTE ACCESS TO GENETIC RESOURCES AND FAIR SHARING OF THE BENEFITS
● 15•7 - ELIMINATE POACHING AND TRAFFICKING OF PROTECTED SPECIES
● 15•8 - PREVENT INVASIVE ALIEN SPECIES ON LAND AND IN WATER ECOSYSTEMS
● 15•9 - INTEGRATE ECOSYSTEM AND BIODIVERSITY IN GOVERNMENTAL PLANNING
● 15•A - INCREASE FINANCIAL RESOURCES TO CONSERVE AND SUSTAINABLY USE ECOSYSTEM AND
BIODIVERSITY
● 15•B - FINANCE AND INCENTIVIZE SUSTAINABLE FOREST MANAGEMENT
● 15•C - COMBAT GLOBAL POACHING AND TRAFFICKING
THEME 2: Creative posters about protecting nature and all the problems that threaten nature.
INSTITUTION AND EXHIBITION
This competition is organized by Bolu Abant Ä°zzet Baysal University under the direction of Orhun
TÜRKER and Abdurrahman ÖZDEMİR. At the end of the competition, a digital catalog containing the
works selected by the jury will be prepared. This catalog will be published on biahposter.com.
SCOPE OF THE COMPETITION
The theme of Protecting Nature covers the gathering of designs that aim to raise awareness and
raise awareness on the above-mentioned issues under an international event roof.
AWARDS
BIAH is a non-profit design organization. The main purpose of this organization is to raise awareness
about the world's problems and bring designers together in this event. All participants who
contribute to this awareness and whose works are accepted to the exhibition by the jury will be
awarded a digital participation certificate. A symbolic digital BIAH Certificate of Achievement will be
given to the top three authors. The winner of the competition will have the right to take part in the
jury at the next BIAH event.
