GEMA International Painting Olympics'23

GEMA has always stood for promoting art and art practices in the Schools through various Art Contests. The International Painting Olympics has touched the lives of thousands of creative & innovative kids.


The activity has been designed to nurture the child’s creativity & motivate them to think in an innovative manner. The contest is conducted with immense professionalism and has a fair and impartial judging process, bestowing the contest with unparalleled credibility.

Students from Kindergarten to 12th standard are invited to participate in 5 clearly divided groups. Each group receives an exciting and relevant topic and everyone gets Gift Vouchers and Digital Certificates.

Dos & Dont's
We will accept only 1 entry per registrant.
Do not submit works of digital art or craft.
We appreciate originality and creativity. Copying and coloring pre-printed drawing is not acceptable.
Quotes or slogans or if participants wish to write a few words to explain their creations, it can be written on the picture

You can participate in following categories

Group A
(Kindergarten – Below 1st Grade/Class)

Theme: My Favorite Food

Kids can draw and paint their favorite food items such as fruits, vegetables, ice cream, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, cupcakes, cookies, or any other food they enjoy. They can also draw themselves enjoying their favorite food with friends and family, or their favorite food being cooked or served. The main idea is to encourage them to express their creativity and imagination while showcasing their love for their favorite food. Have fun and happy painting!    

      Paper size: A3/Quarter Imperial (297mm x 420mm to 279mm X 420mm)          Materials to be used – Oil Pastels/Wax Crayons/Plastic Crayons

Group B
(Grade/Class 1st & 2nd)

Theme: My Pet

Kids can draw a picture of their favorite pet or an imaginary pet that they would like to have. Kids can also draw their pet doing fun activities such as playing with a ball, running in a field, or taking a nap in its favorite spot and add small details like the pet’s toys or accessories. They can also include themselves in the drawing, spending time with their pet and having fun together. Kids can also add a background that complements their pet, such as a park, a house, or a forest. It’s important to let their creativity flow and have fun while drawing their pet.

      Paper size: A3/Quarter Imperial (297mm x 420mm to 279mm X 420mm)          Materials to be used – Oil Pastels/Wax Crayons/Plastic Crayons

Group C
(Grade/Class 3rd, 4th & 5th)

Theme: Fun in the Sun

You could draw people playing at the beach, having a picnic in the park, or swimming in a pool. You could draw animals enjoying the sunshine, like birds, dogs, or cats. A family barbeque in the backyard, Playing frisbee or soccer with friends in a park, Going on a hike or nature walk on a sunny day, Flying a kite at the beach or in a field, Having a water balloon fight or playing with a sprinkler, Going on a rollercoaster or amusement park ride on a sunny day, Visiting a zoo or aquarium to see animals in the sun, Exploring a new city or town on a sunny day.You could even draw yourself having fun outside, maybe riding a bike or playing with friends. Use your imagination and have fun!

Group D
(Grade/Class 6th to 8th)

Theme: Food Fair I visited

Students can create a colorful and vibrant painting depicting their experiences at a food fair. They can include images of different food stalls, vendors, and people enjoying various types of food. They can also include fun and creative elements like balloons, decorations, and games. To make the painting more interesting, students can also draw images of the various cultures and cuisines represented at the food fair. They can include flags, traditional clothing, and other cultural elements to highlight the diversity of food and people at the fair. They can add a touch of their own personal experience by including themselves or someone they know in the painting. Overall, students should focus on creating an eye-catching and unique painting that showcases their experience at the food fair.

Group E
(Grade/Class 9th to 12th)

Theme: I saw a Disaster with my own Eyes   

Picture can illustrate natural and man-made disasters: floods, droughts, hail storms, tornadoes, fires, environmental accidents, war conflicts, rescue operations, self help and solidarity, etc. They can use colors and images to express their emotions and thoughts on the event, such as sadness, fear, hope, or resilience. They can also explore the impact of the disaster on the environment, people, and animals, and depict the aftermath and recovery efforts. The painting can be realistic or abstract, but it should convey a meaningful message to the viewers.

      Paper size: A3/Quarter Imperial (297mm x 420mm to 279mm X 420mm) Materials to be used – Oil Pastels/Wax Crayons/Plastic Crayons

How to Participate?
Step 1
Complete your painting on relevant topic.

Step 2
Click 2 clear photographs, one of your painting and another one of your child holding the painting in his/her hand.
Register Now: 300 INR

Step 3
Register , Pay the Fee and Upload your photographs.
