QoTB® is TAPMI’s flagship event and is India’s biggest on-campus business quiz competition where the best minds from all over the world battle it out to be the coveted QoTB® champions. The qualifiers for the quizzes will be conducted in 7 Indian cities across 6 states. The Indian cities to be covered for the city qualifiers are Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Manipal, and Mumbai. In addition to which a Pan-India Online Qualifier will be held through unstop platform. The total prizes to be distributed across all the events will be worth more than 13 Lakhs in total!
The top 10 teams from each cluster will participate in the qualifier round of the event. 1 team from the qualifying team will participate in the final round to be conducted on the beach. The travel of participants to Manipal and back to their hometown along with their stay for the final round will be covered by the organizing team of the event.
TAPMI QoTB® is now in its 18th edition and has established a widespread reputation through which quiz enthusiasts from colleges and universities across the world are being captivated. With over 3000 teams competing in the previous edition of TAPMI QoTB® has received appreciation from the viewers and the participants for the grandeur and smooth execution of the event.
Note: Round 2
The cluster cities include - Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Manipal, and Mumbai
The total prizes for distribution in this round will be worth more than 4.5 Lakhs!
Note for online qualifier - There will a separate option to select an online qualifier for the participants registering apart from the cities mentioned above for their convenience. Participants can select the "Other" option for participating in the registration form for the same.
However, please note that there will be increased competition and only 10 teams will qualify for the qualifier round across pan India & 1 team will qualify for the final round
Therefore, the participants are advised to prefer zonal cities to stand a better chance of qualifying
Guidelines:
A person can be part of only one team. Participating in more than one team will lead to disqualification.
Each team will have 2 members
This quiz is open for school students in the classes 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th.
Cross-institute teams are allowed
All decisions in the matter of eligibility, authenticity & final judgment will be with Unstop and the organizer.
Rules:
There will be 20 questions in the quiz and the total time to attempt them is 30 minutes
Only the team leader will be able to take the quiz
The first round will be an elimination round which will be conducted online and only qualifying teams will be able to participate in the second round which will be conducted offline
The first round of the quiz will be live from 12:00 PM IST to 11:59 PM IST on 23 December 2022 and there will be no negative marks for the same
The third and final round will be conducted on Malpe Beach in Manipal, Karnataka. The travel to and fro and stay for all the students participating in the final round will be covered by the organizers of the event
Scoring will be done on the basis of accuracy and time taken
Organizers exercise the right to disqualify any team if found to be involved in malpractice.
