Prem Gali Writing Contest

Tales of love mesmerize the readers through their vivid hues of emotions, the ups and downs and of course through the quest itself. Author Priyanka Gupta Saha carves the theme of love in such a way in her book 'Prem Gali'. An epitome of affection, the edition contains different love stories, diverse characters and heartwarming storylines.

StoryMirror invites you to be a part of the writing contest "Prem Gali" where you can win cash prizes of upto Rs. 4700. All you have to do is choose any three characters and one plot from any three stories of the book "Prem Gali" and create your own story using the above elements.


How to take part?

Read the book "Prem Gali" published by StoryMirror. Available at https://amzn.to/3XIp9RM
The book comprises 27 love stories. Choose any 3 characters and one plot from any three stories of the book.
Then create your own story using the above elements of the book "Prem Gali". You need to mention the name of the story from where you have taken characters and plot.
Submit your story on the StoryMirror platform
Contest prizes

Prizes will be given out to the best story. For your entry to be considered for a prize, you must choose any 3 characters and one plot from the book "Prem Gali" and create your own story. StoryMirror’s judges will choose the winning entries. The decision of the judges is final.

The prizes are

First prize INR 2100 + a Certificate from StoryMirror
Second prize INR 1100 + a Certificate from StoryMirror
Third prize INR 501 + a Certificate from StoryMirror
Fourth prize INR 201 + Certificate from StoryMirror to five more entries.
Participation certificates to all participants.

Other rules of the contest

You need to first read the book "Prem Gali" available at https://amzn.to/3XIp9RM. Then create your short story using any 3 characters and one plot from any three stories of the book.
The contest is open to all Indian citizens.
Entries are welcome in English, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati.
The minimum number of words is 400. There is no maximum limit
You must make a submission as an individual writer (writing in groups of two or three or more are not allowed)
You must make your submission on the StoryMirror platform
Languages: Content can be submitted in any one or more of these languages -   English, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati.
