DoT invites creative designers, artists and innovators to participate in Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Govt of India Logo Design Competition for National Broadband Mission. The logo should depict the vision of DoT and easily relatable to the Telecommunication.
The National Digital Communications Policy 2018 (NDCP-2018) has been notified in 2018 with one of its strategic objective as “Provisioning of Broadband for All”. The policy envisions fulfilling the information and communication needs of citizens and enterprises through the establishment of a ubiquitous, resilient, secure, accessible and affordable Digital Communications Infrastructure and Services; and in the process, supporting India’s transition to a digitally empowered economy and society.
Establishing a ‘National Broadband Mission – Rashtriya Broadband Abhiyan’ to secure universal broadband access is one of the key strategies to achieve the Mission Connect India of NDCP-2018. To ensure fast track multi-fold growth of digital communications infrastructure to meet the overall objective of “Broadband for All” and to unleash the potential of new emerging technologies like such as 5G.
The best selected entry shall be awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-.
