The Indian Census is the most credible source of information on Demography, Economic Activity, Literacy and Education, Housing & Household Amenities, Urbanisation, Fertility and Mortality, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Language, Religion, Migration, Disability and many other socio-cultural and demographic data since 1872. It helps them in framing new policies, seeing whether the government programs are effective and identifying areas and communities which may need assistance.
To generate awareness on the importance of Census, we invite you to create a slogan for “Census 2021”.
Last date of submission is 19th September 2019.
The competition is open to all Indian citizens residing within and outside India
Prize: The winning entry will be the official Slogan for the Census 2021 of India and will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 25,000/-.
Technical Parameters
The participant should upload the slogan as a file in PDF format.
The slogan should be catchy and should not be more than one line.
Please note that the slogan must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.
Entry must be submitted to the Creative Corner Section of mygov.in.
Make sure your MyGov profile is accurate and updated as we will use the information on the profile for further communication. This includes your name, photo and phone number. Entries by those with incomplete profiles will be rejected.
