International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) is organising a short video contest for students.
Calling all young filmmakers from around the world:Submit a 1–2 minute video for your chance to win a$500 PRIZE.
Your video should offer ideas and solutions that can help ensure the world has access to healthy, diverse, and affordable diets
A panel of senior representatives from the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), along with film industry professionals, will select the winning entries. If chosen, your video will receive global attention when the winners are announced on October 16, 2019.
Eligibility
The video competition is open to young filmmakers from all over the world between the ages of 10 and 25, as of the date of submission. The contest includes two age-based categories: 10–17 and 18–25
Selection
Selections will be based on a video’s success in presenting ideas, inspiring action, and emphasizing creativity, innovation and storytelling. A panel of senior representatives from the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), along with film industry professionals, will select the winning entries. Winners will be announced October 16, 2019.
Prizes
A winner and two runners-up will be selected for each age category. The winning entry in each category will receive a $500 prepaid gift card, and each of the four runners-up will receive a $250 prepaid gift card
Last Date
Deadline for submissions is midnight (EST) on October 1, 2019, and must be accompanied by signed entry and consent forms. There is no fee to enter your video in the contest
