ISRO Centres in Kerala (VSSC, LPSC and IISU) are celebrating World Space Week during
October 4-10, 2019. In connection with this, a competitionfor UP & High School students will be held at Thiruvananthapuram, Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, Palakkad and Kannur on October 6,2019.
Competition Theme / Topic
The painting competition will be conducted with "The Moon: Gateway to the Stars" as the theme.
Who can participate
Competition is intended for Upper Primary and High School students.
Students of classes 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 can participate.

Medium to be used : "Any medium"
Drawing sheet will be provided at the venue. Students are advised to bring necessary drawing materials (except drawing paper) to the venue.
Event
The Painting competition will be conducted on 6th October, 2019[Sunday] from 9 AM onwards. The event is likely to conclude by 12.30 PM
The competition will be conducted simultaneously at five cities of Kerala as mentioned below

Students are free to choose their venue as per convenience and the same should be indicated during online registration.
Schools are encouraged to maximize the participation of their students for the event. Students may register for the Painting competition at the Registration portal in the World Space Week-2019 Website.

Preferred Venue:
Applicants shall have to make their own arrangements to reach the venue. No transport allowance will be provided.
Registration will be on first come first serve basis. Last date of registration for the Painting Competition is 27th September, 2019.
Refreshments will be provided at the venue for participants
Prizes:
Three students each from both Junior and Senior category will be declared as winners at each venue.
Prizes carry a Certificate and Cash Award.
Consolation prizes will be given to the next 10 participants. .
All the students will be provided with Participation Certificates.
Paintings will be evaluated by an expert panel
General Rules
There will be no registration / participation fee
It is compulsory to submit the painting of all participants for evaluation at our end. Submitted paintings will not be returned.
