Vikram Sarabhai Science Foundation announces the NATIONAL SCIENCE PROMOTION ORIENT TEST- SPOT 2023-2024.

Vikram Sarabhai Science Foundation (VSSF) conducts SPOT assessment examination, annually, for students with aptitude to determine their conceptual knowledge & understanding of Science, across disciplines.SPOT is the medium through which the Foundation shortlist & assist the SPOT PRELI MS qualifiers & SPOT100 students. The exams are conducted in 2 phases, online. wherein every shortlisted student stands to gain intellectually & academically via an interactive Science portal. SPOTlink. for over a span of 2 months.

Evermore SPOT offers powerful platform for building confidence, developing communication skills and making sense of • world around us- a world that's increasingly shaped by Science & Technology.

 🎯    Registration Open - For all Schools (KVS, CBSE, ICSE, State Schools)

🎯    Registration Close: 15th Dec 2023

🎯    Test Date: 5th Jan 2024 to 7th Jan 2024

🎯    Students Registration: Open through Schools.

🎯    Individual Students Registration: Opens on 10th Nov 2023.

FEE & ELIGIBILITY

FEES: REGISTRATION THROUGH SCHOOLS

• Registration for students open through their respective schools/ Coordinators.
• A participation fee to be paid at the school office / School Coordinator.
• Participation Fee shall be communicated by the school / School Coordinator.
• School Coordinators to register students through SPOT portal.
• Student to provide their full name, Class & Previous year Science assessment percentage (% marks). VSSF may request the school principal for validation of marks & student ID, if required.
• On successful registration, students shall be provided with Individual ID & password by the school coordinator.
• Cut-off date for Student registration communicated to the School Coordinators.
• Registered students, post receipt of individual login ID & password can visit VSSF website for further information on dates & guidelines (Visit vssf.in, Select “Downloads” and then select “SPOT- Key Student Info”)

FEES: INDIVIDUAL STUDENT REGISTRATION

• All Students to Register irrespective of their earlier SPOT participation
  • Process:
    
    • VSSF Portal > Student registration > Fill in all mandatory fields > REGISTER
    • GUILDELINE > Click PAY NOW (on the left)
    • Choose the Payment Option & Pay
      (Kindly save your payment Transaction ID for confirmation with VSSF)

Eligibility:

• Students from KV, CBSE, CISCE are eligible to appear for SPOT 2023-2024.
• Registration Open to School & also to Individual Students.
• Assessment open to all students from Class III to XII.
• Detailed Registration & Test process shall be available through the School Coordinator as well as VSSF portal by 15th Oct 2023.
