Raven Olympiads - Hands on Science Olympiad

AIRSPORT train childrens on various disciplines in aeromodelling and conduct regional level competitions. The training & competitions will be conducted under the rules of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI), is the world governing body for air sports and for certifying world aviation and space records.

Reven Olympiads
It is an India's only hands on competitive practical education competition which deals with hands on training, live projects and national level competitions conducted throughout the country to create a platform for the school students to showcase their innovative ideas and talents in the field of aviation, science and technology, space technology and in other engineering streams.

Individual Events
Wright Glider

This model is inspired from the first ever build man made aircraft “Wright Flyer” which is launched by catapult method. Each and every participant will receive a kit to build his/her own glider model out of hard board. The selection criteria will be based on the Range & Endurance of the model build by the participant.
Price: Without Training charges INR 199/- with training charges INR 349/-
Eligibility: For grade 4 to 8

Dynamic Surfer

This is a feather type model which surfs through air with proper maintenance of center of gravity. Each and every participant will receive a kit to build his/her own surfing model out of Foam. The selection criteria for this model is based on the level of control a participant has in the surfing path of his/her own surfing model

Eligibility: For grade 6 to 10

Gyro Hunter


This model is one of the oldest hunting tools used by human race which usually travels in a centrifugal path. It uses scientific law called gyroscopic precision through which it forms a flying path returning back to the thrower. Each and every participant will receive a kit to build his/her own gyro model out of hard wood. The selection criterion for this model is based on the returning nature of the model

Eligibility: For grade 8 to 12

Prop-O-Craft

This model is a lightweight aircraft model which uses propeller to increase its endurance by providing thrust. Each and every participant will receive a kit to build his/her own propeller model out of Balsa Wood. The selection criteria for this model will be based on the endurance level of the model.

Eligibility: For grade 8 to 12

Team Events
KnewTON

This event is organized to uplift the innovative thinking among the school students. Participants can present their own science projects with various innovative ideas in this event. Students participating in this event can join as an solo participant or can team up with their friends with maximum of 4 members in a team.
Price: Registration Charges INR 1000/-
Eligibility: For grade 6 to 12

Register online. Fill the forms which will be sent to your registered email id and sent it to olympiad[at]ravensconnected.in along with payment confirmation copy
Kits for all participants will be sent to the schools with tutorial DVD
Schools may conduct training on their own or can call trainers from airsport
