QoTB® is TAPMI’s flagship event and is India’s biggest on-campus business quiz competition where the best minds from all over the country battle it out to be the coveted QoTB® champions. The qualifiers for the quizzes will be conducted in 8 Indian cities across 7 states. The Indian cities to be covered for the city qualifiers are Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai Manipal and an Online qualifier. The total prizes to be distributed across all the events will be worth more than 12 Lakhs in total!
The top 8 teams from each cluster will participate in the qualifier round of the event. 1 team from each cluster will participate in the final round to be conducted on the Malpe beach. The travel of participants to Manipal from their qualifying city and back to the qualifying city along with their stay for the final round will be covered by the organizing team of the event.
TAPMI QoTB® is now in its 19th edition and has established a widespread reputation through which quiz enthusiasts from schools, colleges, universities and corporations across the world are being captivated. With over 3000 participants competing in the previous edition, TAPMI QoTB® has received appreciation from the viewers and the participants for the grandeur and smooth execution of the event.
The cluster cities include - Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Manipal and an Online qualifier.
The dates for which are :- Hyderabad - 7th January 2024
Chennai -10th January 2024 Mumbai - 8th January 2024
Delhi- 10th January 2024
Bangalore - 8th January 2024
Kolkata - 10th January 2024
Manipal - 14th January 2024
Online - 7th January 2024
The total prizes for distribution in this round will be worth more than 7.5 Lakhs!
Guidelines:
A person can be part of only one team. Participating in more than one team will lead to disqualification.
Each team will have 2 members.
At no point during the competition can there be a change in the team members. Any team with members unable to participate or travel for the offline rounds would be treated as disqualified.
This quiz is open only for school students in the classes 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th.
Cross-institute teams are allowed.
All decisions in the matter of eligibility, authenticity & final judgment will be with Unstop and the organizer.
Rules:
There will be 25 questions in the 1st round of the quiz and the total time to attempt them is 20 minutes.
Only the team leader will be able to take the quiz.
The first round will be an elimination round which will be conducted online on Unstop and only qualifying teams will be able to participate in the second round which will be conducted offline.
The first round of the quiz will be live from 10:00 AM IST to 11:59 PM IST on 17th December 2023 and there will be no negative marks for the same.
The third and final round will be conducted on Malpe Beach in Manipal, Karnataka. The travel to and fro from the qualifying city and stay for all the students participating in the final round will be covered by the organizers of the event.
The travel will be provided only from and to the city of qualifying for all the winners of city qualifiers.
Scoring will be done on the basis of accuracy and time taken.
Organizers exercise the right to disqualify any team if found to be involved in malpractice.
