To commemorate the Poetry Month, StoryMirror presents “Poem A Day”, a poetry writing contest to celebrate the expressiveness, delight, and pure charm of poetry.
30 Days, 30 Poems By Our Poetry Ambassadors
Want ideas to help you compose a poem? Looking for references to guide you? Say no more, because StoryMirror brings you a way to get your imagination in gear for “Today's Poetry Ideas with Poem of the Day”.
We have featured a few of our selected published authors as our Poetry Ambassadors for this contest. On the contest page, we will feature a poem of one of our Poetry Ambassadors everyday. The presented verse will provide you musings to help you paint more impactful poetries. You need to go through the poem, interpret the theme and create your own poem based on that.
Alternatively, you can also choose to write on the theme of your choice.
Rules:
Participants can submit poems on any theme or can take theme inspiration from Poem of the day.
Winners will be decided on the basis of various parameters mentioned in the prize section.
Participants should submit their original content. There is no limit to the number of content to be submitted.
There is no word limit.
There is no participation fee.

Prizes:
Participants who submit 20 poems or more will be given one free physical poetry book by StoryMirror as well as a physical certificate.
Participants who submit 10 poems or more will be given one free poetry e-book by StoryMirror.
Top 10 winners decided on the basis of a combination of scores by our editorial team, jury and number of likes and comments will receive SM vouchers worth Rs. 150. They will also get their poems featured in StoryMirror’s upcoming poetry anthology project.
Top 30 winners (other than top 10 winners above) will be published in an ebook by StoryMirror. The parameters considered for winning are editorial scores by our editorial team.
Top 3 Winners in each language will be declared as Poetry Wizard and will also be given a special certificate for the same.
Winners will receive digital certificates of appreciation.
All participants will receive a digital participation certificate.
