Be the designer for India’s mascot at global skill competitions!
India participates in WorldSkills Competition, a global event held every two years that brings together the best of skilled contenders of more than 60 countries. Under the WorldSkills brand, National Skill Development Corporation with the guidance of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India conducts IndiaSkills Competitions biennially to discover skilled and talented youth who show the potential to represent the country at the global skill competition. IndiaSkills is the country’s biggest skill competition and involves an extensive process of tests, trainings and selections, starting at the district and state level, followed by regional and national competitions.
IndiaSkills 2021 National Competition concluded in January this year. The winners of this competition are undergoing training and the best of the lot will get a chance to be India’s face at WorldSkills Shanghai 2022. In the previous edition of WorldSkills held in Kazan, Russia (2019), India gave its best performance by winning its first gold medal in water technology skill. India also won a silver medal, two bronze medals and 15 Medallions of Excellence, which put us on the 13th rank of the 63 participating countries.
Here’s your chance to let your creativity shine and create a mascot for India! The mascot should represent youth, prowess, strength, intelligence, determination and passion.
