Elocution Competition for Students on India


Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Hyderabad  under the  Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India is celebrating Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav – 75 years of Independence from 6th -12th September 2021.

As part of the celebrations, elocution competition for students is being organized on the theme  "India - a land of opportunities" to provide a platform for the younger generation to voice the  opportunities they see in a New India.

Who can participate?
Group A:  Students less than 18 years
Group B:  Students in the age group of 18 years to 26 Years 

Awards
Awards for each group (cash prize or equal amount of gift articles) is as follows : 

First prize : Rs 5,000
Second prize : Rs 3,000
Third prize : Rs 2,000                                                           
All participants will receive e-certificates for participation.

Last Date for Submission 
Last Date for Submission : 25th Sept, 2021
Announcement of Results : 30th September 2021.

Mode of Submission
Please submit the recorded video of your speech on WhatsApp No : 94907 71800

Guidelines for submission    
Time limit for each contestant to speak : maximum of 2 minutes.
The language of the elocution : English/Hindi
Each individual can submit one entry only.
The content of the elocution should be self-composed. Plagiarism in any form will not be tolerated. 
The poster must not promote any individual, organization, brand or religion.
The following details of the participant must be clearly mentioned and submitted separately during submission of the entry.

All the participants are to strictly comply with the above mentioned guidelines. 

Selection Process
Only entries that are relevant to the given theme and fulfill the set guidelines would be considered for evaluation.
The selection of best entries is to be done by a panel constituted by the organizing institution. The judgement of the Committee would be final
In every group, top three best contestants would be selected and awarded. Proof of age (any valid government issued document such as Aadhaar) to be obtained from the participant before declaration of results. 

Terms & Conditions
The selection done by the committee is final and binding.
No individual correspondence shall be entertained.
The results will be intimated individually to the awardees
The decision of the awards selection committee of the competition will be final.
The works received are the property of C-DAC Hyderabad. The same can be used as part of project promotions and appropriate acknowledgement will be given.
The organization reserves the right to cancel the competition without any prior intimation.
